Bismillah. Welcome to DailySunnah.
Ever notice how the most beautiful part of the sunset happens right before darkness falls?
There's something about endings that makes us pause, reflect, and sometimes panic a little.
As we approach these final precious moments of Ramadan, our hearts might be experiencing a complex blend of feelings.
Here’s what we have for you today:

🤲 Du’a for Yasmine
We all enter these final days of Ramadan carrying our unique emotional baggage.
For some, it feels like going through a familiar ritual as soon as the Quran is finished, our attention shifts to Eid preparations.
For others, the weight of unmet goals sits heavy.
Perhaps we didn’t complete our Quran recitation as planned or pray all that we planned, and now we find ourselves pleading with Allah for forgiveness or the extra strength to finish what we started.
And then some of us wonder if we did enough.
Questioning whether moments of distraction, busy work schedules, or a lack of tears during night prayers will count against us when it’s all said and done.
Maybe you’ve prayed beside someone visibly moved to tears while your own eyes remained dry.
Maybe you’ve heard friends declare this their “best Ramadan ever,” while you felt you could have done more.
That feeling of inadequacy can be crushing.
But remember: your Lord wouldn’t have given you Ramadan if He weren’t inviting you to something greater.
Just as Jibreel would come to the Prophet ﷺ in these final nights saying, “That which you seek is still ahead—keep going, keep going.”
We are reminded of the Prophet’s ﷺ words: “Let those who failed to make the most of the first days of Ramadan make the most of the last days, for all actions are judged by their endings.”
The beauty of divine mercy is that it often appears in unexpected moments.
Allah forgives and blesses us at different times.
When Ramadan began, our hopes and expectations revolved mainly around our potential to act in certain ways.
We set standards and goals for ourselves.
But as Ramadan ends, our focus should shift from performance to acceptance, asking Allah to accept what we've done with all its shortcomings.
The true believer understands that our deeds alone do not earn acceptance; it is always the mercy of Allah that redeems us.
And remember: Eid begins with the crescent moon.
Don’t rush your noble guest out the door before it’s time.
This is the most honored guest of the year, sit with them until the very last moment.
Finally, hold on to your good expectations of Allah.
He didn’t bring you to the masjid night after night, inspire you to recite the Quran day after day, or move your heart to making dua... just to turn you away.
Reflection Questions
How can you maintain that feeling of Allah's closeness even after the unique atmosphere of Ramadan fades?
What's one lesson from this Ramadan that you don't want to forget as you move forward into the rest of the year?

10 Orphans Remain..
Alhamdulillah, with this community's support, we have raised enough money to build 10 wells and support dozens of orphans and families.
Islamic Ummah Relief is on the ground, actively providing aid.
But they can’t do it alone.
So far, they have distributed thousands of meals to many fasting during Ramadan.
With $100, we can sponsor an orphan for a month.
With $1,200, we can sponsor an orphan for a year.
Every amount helps the efforts.

👶 SunnahStories:

Upon a farm, so bright and neat,
A red hen worked in golden wheat.
With busy feet, with heart so bold,
She found some grains as bright as gold.
"Oh friends, oh friends, come work with me,"
"We'll plant this wheat so carefully!"
But cat just stretched and goat just lay,
And duck splashed water all the day.
"Not I!" they said and walked away,
"Go plant alone—we’d rather play!"
So Amina worked, with patient hand,
She planted seeds across the land.
The wheat soon grew, so tall, so bright,
Its golden tops swayed in the light.
"Who'll help me now?" the red hen called,
But once again, they just all stalled.
"Not I!" they laughed, "It’s not for me!"
So Amina worked so patiently.
She cut the wheat, she ground it fine,
And baked her bread—oh, warm, divine!
The smell soon spread, so soft and sweet,
And all her friends ran up to eat.
"Oh Hen, oh Hen, may we have some?"
"That bread smells great! We want a crumb!"
But Amina smiled and shook her head,
"You did not help, so no fresh bread!"
"For work brings blessings, this is true—"
"If you don’t help, no share for you!"
The cat, the duck, the goat felt shame,
They’d learned their lesson in this game.
And so they promised, from that day,
To always work, and not delay.
Reflection Questions:
1️⃣ Why did Amina’s friends refuse to help her?
2️⃣ How did Amina show patience and perseverance?
3️⃣ Why was it fair that only Amina ate the bread?
4️⃣ What does Islam teach us about working hard for our own efforts?
5️⃣ Can you think of a time when hard work paid off for you?

🤲 Make Dua for Yasmine
﷽
Ya Rabb, bless Yasmine on her upcoming Step 1 exam. Grant her clarity of mind, strength of heart, and success that comes with Your divine help. Place barakah in her studies, her time, and every effort she makes.
Oh Allah, keep her firm upon Your deen. Grant her steadfastness in Islam, deepen her connection with You, and guide her heart with the light of hidaya. Make her journey one of purpose and peace, always walking the path that pleases You.
Ya Allah, through her medical career, make her a source of healing and mercy for the Ummah. Let her hands serve with compassion, her knowledge benefit others, and her work be solely for Your sake. Allow her to earn Your pleasure through her service and sincerity.
Bless Yasmine with the very best of this life — and even more so in the next. Grant her success that brings her closer to You, and a heart that finds peace in Your remembrance always.
Ameen, Ya Rabb al-'Alamin.
