A Simple Question, A Divine Answer
A Dream Beyond Imagination

And whoever relies upon Allah—then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.
Imagine standing in a small village in Ghana, gazing at the sky, and dreaming of an impossible journey.
For Al-Hassan Abdullah, a humble villager with little more than his faith and hope, this dream was to one day perform the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca.
His story begins with a simple, heartfelt question to a Turkish film crew filming with a drone in his village: “Do you have a bigger one of these that can take me to Mecca?”
It was a simple question, born of innocence and faith.
But little did he know, this moment would become the first step in a journey orchestrated by Allah, the Best of Planners.
For Abdullah, a poor villager with few resources, the dream of performing Hajj seemed impossible. Yet, he held onto his faith, trusting that Allah would make a way.
When the video of Abdullah’s heartfelt question went viral, it touched the hearts of millions. Among them was Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who was moved by Abdullah’s sincerity and unwavering faith.
In stunning generosity, the Turkish government and charitable organizations stepped in to make Abdullah’s dream come true.
From his humble village in Ghana to the vibrant streets of Istanbul, Allah’s plan unfolded most unexpectedly and beautifully.
Upon arriving in Istanbul, Abdullah shared his gratitude:
“I am grateful to God, and I pray for everyone who helped make this dream come true.”
His words remind us that Allah’s help often comes through the hands of others and that every act of kindness reflects His mercy.
As Abdullah prepares to stand on the plains of Arafat, fulfilling his lifelong dream of Hajj, let us reflect on our dreams and the power of trusting in Allah.
