🤲 Du’a for Hasan
There's a transformative approach to Islam that turns abstract concepts into life-altering realities, where loving Allah becomes the engine that powers every aspect of your existence.
The path to meaningful faith isn't paved with philosophical debates about divine existence.
Instead, it flows through knowing Allah intimately through His attributes, falling deeply in love with Him, and allowing that love to inspire action.
As one scholar beautifully articulated, our approach should teach people "to long for Allah and his Messenger in ways that connect with everyday life.”
Allah revealed His magnificent names and attributes as an invitation to a relationship.
This relationship operates like a mirror: your position with Allah reflects how He positions Himself in your life.
When this understanding saturates your consciousness, everything else diminishes in significance.
Your loves, hatreds, desires, and aversions begin aligning with divine preferences.
This isn't about floating in constant spiritual ecstasy but becoming action-driven, motivated by the desire to be counted among those Allah loves.
How can you know where you stand with Allah?
The evidence lies not in feelings alone but in your daily life's approach and action.
First and foremost, examine how you treat fellow believers.
Do you approach them with the mercy, compassion, and humility described in the Quran?
Next, observe your conduct when surrounded by those who don't share your faith.
Do you compromise your principles for acceptance or stand firm while maintaining respectful interactions?
True believers practice their faith proudly, not aggressively but certainly without apology.
Finally, notice what occupies your time and thoughts.
When love for Allah permeates your being, you naturally gravitate toward what brings you closer to Him, especially in the challenging moments.
Like a compass needle invariably turning north, the heart that loves Allah constantly reorients itself toward Him.
Remember, personal reflection often reveals insights that no external source can provide.
Reflect On This
When did you last feel your love for Allah propel you beyond routine worship into meaningful action? What specifically did you do?

👶 SunnahStories:

A lion strong, so bold and free,
Walked with a man through lands to see.
His friend so proud, his chest held high,
"Man is strongest!" came his cry.
"We build, we rule, we stand so tall—"
"No beast on earth can make us fall!"
The lion smiled but made no sound,
Just watched the world and looked around.
They reached a place with stone so wide,
A statue stood with fearless pride.
A man stood tall, his foot was pressed,
Upon a lion, laid to rest.
"Behold!" the man said, full of glee,
"A sign of man’s great victory!"
The lion laughed, his voice was deep,
And spoke a truth so wise to keep.
"Dear friend, your eyes may see this way,"
"But lions carve no stones today."
"Had we the hands to shape the past,"
"This tale would change, the roles recast!"
For strength is not just who decides,
Nor who the world may glorify.
But truth is firm and never swayed,
By hands that shape what’s on display.
Reflection Questions:
1️⃣ Why did Rami believe humans were stronger than lions?
2️⃣ What was the message behind Zafir’s response?
3️⃣ How does this story teach us to question the way history is told?
4️⃣ What does Islam say about seeking truth beyond appearances?
5️⃣ Can you think of a time when a story was told in a way that favored one side over another?
