The Blessing Blueprint

Alhamdullilah, We are at 43% of our goal!
Please help us support 1000 families this Ramadan with food and clean water.
Zakat Eligible.
Bismillah. Welcome to DailySunnah.
Have you ever noticed how we don’t appreciate something until it’s gone?
A good Wi-Fi connection.
That one pair of comfortable socks.
Even our health—until a simple flu leaves us feeling weak for days.
As humans, we are prone to forgetfulness. Call it spiritual amnesia.
Here’s what we have for you today:

🤲 Du’a for Asad Razi and Family
We move rapidly, caught up in deadlines, notifications, and life’s demands.
The result?
A restless heart, a cluttered mind, and an increasing sense of detachment from our purpose.
Gratitude often takes a back seat, and we forget that every breath, every heartbeat, and every sip of water is a blessing from Allah.
Our world today leaves us with constant dissatisfaction.
Always seeking more, yet feeling less content.
We scroll past our blessings, comparing ourselves to others instead of recognizing our own gifts.
Life, health, even the ability to blink—all taken for granted until they are compromised.
And here’s the truth: when we stop appreciating blessings, we risk losing them.
Islam provides us with a three-step mindset for happiness and resilience.
Patience in hardships. Life will test us—sometimes in unexpected ways. But Sabr is not passive; it is strength, endurance, and trust in Allah’s plan.
Gratitude in blessings. Not just for significant successes but also for the everyday miracles—our heartbeat, our immune system, and the ability to taste food.
Humility in all things. We are created from dust, yet Allah sustains us. A little perspective keeps the heart soft and the soul-aligned.
Take a moment to reflect. Count your blessings.
Whisper Alhamdulillah, for what you have before life reminds you of what you had.
Focusing on what is already present in a world that often highlights what is missing.
Reflect on this:
Close your eyes and feel three things you are grateful for right now.

👶 SunnahStories:

Upon a farm where wheat fields grew,
Lived Hamza the bull, both strong and true.
His hooves were firm, his horns stood tall,
And strength he had, the most of all.
"No beast is stronger!" he would say,
"None match my power, night or day!"
He walked with pride, he held his ground,
His mighty steps shook all around.
Yet one small mouse, so soft and sly,
With tiny paws and watchful eye,
Thought to himself, *"Oh, what a sight!
To climb that bull—oh, what delight!"*
So up he ran, with steps so fleet,
Across the bull’s broad back and seat.
Hamza leapt! He kicked, he swayed!
But Sami held—he was not afraid!
The farmyard laughed, both big and small,
"The mighty bull, outmatched by all!"
Hamza paused, his pride now thin,
"Perhaps true strength is found within."
"Oh little mouse, you’ve made me see,
That Allah made us purposefully."
"No size defines the heart inside,
For strength is built with faith and pride!"
The owl above then gave a cheer,
"Remember, strength is not just here!"
"For Allah sees not might nor height,
But hearts that glow with deeds so bright!"
Reflection Questions:
1️⃣ Why did Hamza think he was the strongest animal?
2️⃣ How did Sami the mouse prove that even small creatures have strength?
3️⃣ What does Islam teach us about true strength and humility?
4️⃣ Can you think of a time when someone underestimated you because of your size or ability?
5️⃣ How can we remind ourselves to appreciate others, no matter how big or small?

🌎️ Ummah Spotlight:
TAKE ACTION: FREE MAHMOUD!

Imagine this: eight months along, you and your pregnant wife arrive home late at night. Suddenly, two strangers force their way in behind you and begin to interrogate and threaten you.
This isn’t some distant horror story. It happened to Khalil, a lawful permanent resident, and his U.S. citizen wife.
He was arrested, his eight-month-pregnant wife was threatened, and when his lawyer tried to intervene, they simply hung up—all because he supported a peaceful Palestinian protest at his college.
The blatant abuse of power, intimidation, and refusal to acknowledge fundamental rights should enrage every one of us.
Sign the petition to demand accountability—let’s make it clear that we will not stand by while families are terrorized in their own homes.
