Find Your Way Through Darkness

🤲 Make Du’a for Memuna 🤲

O Allah, the Source of Peace and Healer of hearts, we beseech You to bestow upon our beloved Memuna an abundance of peace in her life. Shower her with Your mercy, envelop her in Your tranquility, and lighten any burdens she carries. Grant her heart contentment, her mind serenity, and her soul the soothing comfort of Your love. Guide her steps in this world towards actions that bring her closer to You and bless her with a life filled with joy, health, and prosperity. Protect her from all harm and grant her ease in all her affairs. O Allah, make her among those who find peace in Your remembrance, for indeed, hearts find peace in Your remembrance.

Have taqwa of Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out, and behave well towards the people.

What is the difference between those who serve others and those who have others serve them?

One day, Umar bin Khattab asked Ubayy ibn Ka'b about Taqwa.

Ubayy said, "Have you ever walked on a path with thorns?"

Umar said, "Yes."

Ubayy asked, "What did you do then?"

Umar replied, "I rolled up my sleeves and struggled."

Ubayy said, "That is taqwa, to protect oneself from sin through life's dangerous journey so that one can complete the journey unscathed by sin."

The root meaning of taqwa is to avoid what one dislikes.

The quality of those who distance themselves from everything that separates them from God, for one of the main goals is to get closer to God.

As devoted believers, no matter what life delivers, this consciousness in God keeps us in a state of safety.

Many parts of the world live under civil strife and unrest.

The blessed Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) prophesied about a time of rampant unrest, likening it to ‘portions of a dark black night.’

But don’t despair, for the Quran gives believers a powerful promise.

It reads, “And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect…” (Quran: 65:2-3).

This verse reiterates that if you hold on to taqwa, you will always find a way out; an ‘exit strategy’ will always be provided.

Religious individuals across faiths are known for their service to others.

Serving others is essentially serving our Creator.

Taqwa has three vital essences:

  • Unwavering trust in God's plan

  • Satisfaction with His provisions

  • Patience over His decisions

This perspective elevates Taqwa from mere avoidance of sin to a profound state of spiritual surrender and contentment.
