Allah Loves You
Reading time: 1 minute
We are constantly reminded of the fact that Allah loves us - more than the angels, more than any of His creations.
He didn’t create us to punish us or make our lives difficult, contrary to what we sometimes perceive.
Allah has given us a way of life, a Sharia. To the untrained eye or someone who doesn’t fully understand, Sharia may seem restricting.
But the truth is, every command from Allah is an act of mercy, especially the ones we might be averse to.
It’s crucial for us to remember that even if we sin, it does not change Allah.
He remains the King of Kings - the one who governs the heavens and the Earth. Whether we pray or don’t pray, or fast or don’t fast, it does not alter His greatness or our relation to Him.
The same goes if we were all to worship Allah till we reach a state of pure-heartedness.
His instructions and commands are only for our benefit.
In our day-to-day life, Allah’s ability to forgive is beyond our comprehension. Whether we realize it or not, we are showered with opportunities for forgiveness. Making ablutions, praying, visiting the mosque, attending the Jummah prayer, or simply sitting in a gathering where Allah is mentioned, each action is a chance for us to be forgiven.
Our relationship with Allah isn’t built on fear but on love and a genuine desire to better ourselves.
Take, for example, the case of a man who killed a hundred people yet sought forgiveness.
Despite his monstrous act, Allah’s mercy still extended towards him.
He was instructed to leave his town of sin and go to a town of good people.
The goal was to change his environment which influenced his behavior.
This reiterates that the chance for forgiveness and change is not beyond anyone.
However, it requires sincere effort on our part.
The essence here isn’t about being infallible or perfect in our actions.
Instead, it revolves around making constant, sincere efforts to do better; to be better. Allah is always waiting with arms wide open for us, ready to forgive and guide us when we make a genuine effort to seek Him.
We must reach a point where we can see with clarity that any restrictions we perceive are from our limited understanding.
Allah is offering us care, protection, and a path to enduring pleasure and contentment.
As we journey through this life, let’s remember that Allah hasn’t created us to make things difficult, but to guide us towards the best version of ourselves for our own good. His mercy is always around us, welcoming us back into His embrace - if only we reach out and seek Him.
3 days to go, insha’allah.
