We Will Return

For Gaza, we hold onto this faith as we declare, "We will return."

Allah always restores His prophets to their rightful places, balances the scales, and demonstrates through history that no oppressor remains unpunished. He uplifts the oppressed when they seem on the brink of collapse.

In the face of expulsion and forced displacement, the displaced look back at their homeland with heavy hearts and a deep sense of longing. They echo the sentiments of the Prophet (pbuh) as he was expelled from Mecca, professing their love for the land they would never have willingly left.

The Prophet's (pbuh) faith did not waver as he narrowly escaped death for his beliefs. He remained steadfast and saw the light of Islam spreading far beyond his immediate challenges.

At times of such peril, when survival becomes the sole preoccupation, Allah’s promises hold an invaluable light of hope. He reaffirms to His followers that He is in control of their destinies and assures the Prophet (pbuh) that he will be returned to his rightful abode, a promise that extends to all Muslims displaced from their lands.

In our current times, opposing voices may cast doubt and question our faith, asserting that we have been abandoned by Allah or deemed unworthy of His divine support.

The cruel images of the injured and oppressed broadcast on our screens can make it difficult to reconcile our faith in Allah’s justice and mercy.

The reality of our sufferings sometimes casts a shadow across our faith.

Securing this faith does not rely on tangible evidence in the present.

No matter how formidable the oppressors seem, their power is an illusion.

Allah determines worthiness.

Allah keeps His promises.

The divine plan is absolute.
