Do not say of those who have died, that they are dead rather they are alive but you don't perceive it.

🤲 Make Du’a for Palestine 🤲
May innocent children, women, and men who are victims of our collective evil rest in peace as they return to the One who is all-loving and most kind.

May they experience an eternal life of bliss where they will never again have to hear another explosion or experience another painful wound. May their loved ones who are left behind find the inner peace and fortitude to live on.

May God forgive us for our evils here on earth and for our lack of compassion, courage, and wisdom in these times. May God grant us strength and patience and show us the enlightened way of forgiveness, reconciliation, and peaceful coexistence.

Ameen.

Imam Sohaib

What we perceive with our limited human vision is often far from reality.

As we grapple with the horrific images coming out of Gaza, it's important to remind ourselves that the souls of those who have been taken in such brutal violence are not dead but alive in the sight of Allah.

The bodies may be lifeless, cold, and bloodied, but the souls are full of life.
They are neither fearful nor grieving.

They are happy and content, knowing they have died as martyrs.

These beautiful spirits are not constrained by their lifeless bodies, they are soaring in the heavens, living life as we cannot even imagine. They are painted in a hue of green, frolicking by river banks blessed with divine waters, relishing the unforgettable taste of the fruits of Jannah.

Subhan Allah. This is the power of faith.

Their wish is not for their own well-being but rather for their families left behind. They urge Allah (swt) to let their families know that they are doing well, that they have been honored by Allah and are being showered with his love and mercy.

This is a much-needed reminder for us, too.

Amidst the constant bombardments, power shortage, deprivation of basic amenities, and the looming sense of fear and uncertainty, it's easy to be overwhelmed. But let's not forget that our life is not just about this physical reality.

The strength to say “alhamdulillah” in such chaotic times stems from faith in Allah and a strong belief in the afterlife. Indeed, life is a test, and life after death is the actual life.

As we witness the atrocities, let’s remind ourselves of the resilience of these "Living Martyrs." It’s this very understanding, bond, and connection with their Creator that helps them withstand these trials and tribulations and say heartfelt words of Shukr even amidst calamity.

So, let's not lose hope.

Let's continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Let's pray for tranquility and peace to prevail. Let's keep the faith just like these living martyrs who, despite everything, are firm in their belief. Remember, these trials and tribulations, this earthly life is temporary. And let's strive for eternal life in Jannah, where no fear, sadness, or pain exists.

Verily, the life of this world is but a fleeting distraction compared to the eternal life in the Hereafter. So, let's continue our spiritual journeys with unwavering faith and strive to live our lives according to the teachings of the Sunnah, embracing patience, surrendering to His will, and serving His creation selflessly, just like these living martyrs in Gaza.
